Club Finances & Developments

money
Just a reminder that Club memberships are now over due, and if you can contact the Club Treasurer, D Flynn to make arrangements for payment of same, Senior & Junior membership for 2010 was reduced to €40 & €20 respectively as per our AGM in December.
There are a number of bills that will need to be paid in the next few weeks in connection with the works being carried out on the track for materials and some machine hire. Other outlays due in the coming months are the clubs insurance and repayments on the timing system.
Update redevelopments at the club over the last few months
• The timing system for the club has now been upgraded to an AMBrc3 system, if anyone needs one the club has some personal transponders available to sell to club members at a low rate.
• We are also investigating the cost of acquiring a PA System suitable for running our club rounds and national round that we will be hosting this year.
• Thanks also to Declan for donating a laptop to the club for use as a race computer.

Track Works for coming weekend - Sat March 13th

E-mail Print PDF

menatworkThanks to all who turned up at the track over the last weekend.

There will be another workday day next weekend on Saturday 13th March.

Please note as Sunday is Mothers day there will be no club race day next weekend, so use the time to do something nice for your wifes and mothers.

It is imperative that the work on the track surface is completed if we want to have a nice surface for racing off road this year.

The more people that attend these work days and the faster the work will get done and the sooner we will be racing off road.

The plan is to have all this work completed over the next 2 weekends and ready for racing for the last weekend in March weather permitting.

Delays in completion of this work will lead to delays in the commencement of a summer off road season.

So again for next Saturday - Start time 10:00-10:30am, if we can get another good turn out.

What to I need to bring ?

  • Work boots/Wellingtons
  • Work Gloves
  • Garden tools - Rakes/Shovels/Forks and buckets or a wheelbarrow if you can bring one.

For the following weekend (20th & 21st) we will have a roller organised to roll and level the track, all going to plan we will have the roller from Friday afternoon/evening until Monday. If there is any on available on the Friday (19th March) evening to start some of the rolling, can you email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . It's only an idea, but if we can get the rolling done on Friday & Saturday we will be free to race on Sunday.

It's that time of year again and everyone is itching to get off-road.

Track works are planned for this weekend 6th/7th March & we need members to attend to help with racking, gathering stones etc.

We will start about 10am each day and need our members help on one or both of the days, please bring yourselves and a rake, fork or shovel if you have one.

Thanks to those that showed up today. A lot of work has been done today. If we can get as many as possible out tomorrow (Sunday 7th) we should be almost ready to start racing off road.
If you can bring rakes & forks/shovels and buckets to lend a hand tomorrow.
