I think after one or two days of racing these things we will all now we like it or not.

Truggies? Sound. Some of them are really easy to conver to buggy anyway. All you have to do is to change body shell and wingstay.

Deck, do you want to go back to all this mess with crystals? Theh are 27MHz with integrated ESC. Yo have to spend at leas 30 quid on the start to buy ESC that can be connected to Spectrum receiver. If you buy ESC why not together with brushless motor? This will start the arms race.
Why not buggys that come already with 2.4?

ESC alone is about £30 and you can connect any receiver you want to it.
Losi brushless system is
£59 (ESC + motor). I would rather go for it.

Dec.

Looks like you want to save some money now to spend some more later. Right after that something will broke.

Look. The toy (it is not a model) you proposin is a pice of ***** and you know that. And I don't know how about ye guys but I'm not buying that.

I don't know. If we can't spend 150 euros for proper entry level car (4WD! not 2WD) maybe theres no point to start the thing.

Frown

i think you should go for the one what is £79 on modelsport to your door it would work out around 100 euro RTR we can run them for this year and see what happens and if we like them we can see about upgrade them for next year at less this way we can see what they are like before pumping money in to them

There's no upgrades for Mini-T... only spare parts.

Well... u can buy alu wishbones and black bodyshell Smile

Esc is integrated with AM RX what makes that car a unupgradable toy. Read some reviews about Mini-T than you'll understand whay is it so cheap. Well... 50 quid cheaper than normal model in the same class... big saving, no doubt.

BTW: if your ESC or receiver is down you have to spend about $50 for a new one combo Smile

So "upgrade them" next year you mean buy new cars, is it?

If ye want to make it cheap Maverick Atom is the best choice in fact. I saw that thing on youtube, I read some reviews and opinions etc. It might be what we lookin for.

The question is: buggy or truggy? And what we gonna do with several identical body shells? Smile

I'm in.

Today Dec mention something about that:http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_44_109/products_id/4593/n/Team-Associated-RC18B-Mini-4wd-RTR-Electric-BuggyI think that is the best choice. Tons, tons of small extremely cheap upgrades and all we need: 4x4, separated rx<->speed controller… and nice look.Unpainted body shell is about $10, isn’t that sweet?Shock towers is about $4 for both J

Set of glued wheels is max $20

Check out list of parts:http://www.amainhobbies.com/index.php/cPath/1_25_1450_925/n/RC-Cars-Trucks-Parts-Team-Associated-RC18B Let's decide guys!
