Ok as the transponders will be 1 per team we will require a hot swap solution when someone else is going out on track.

Im proposing that we wait 1 week so we can assess number then put an order in for a few of these.

The lead will be left outside of the radio box.

IMPORTANT we also need some Futaba Secure clips so these dont come off!

Anyone know where to get em? 

 

Please ensure you make any required changes to your radio box to facilitate this:

maybe bring it out through the exisiting servo lead hole in Radio box.

Please test before the track day that it all works and is secure to cope with quick changes!

so it is one transponder we are using not or own ones i was thinking a lead coming out of the radio box and stick the transponder to the top of the box so it is easy to get to and it will not get damage we can use velcro to stick it to the radio box

Wouldn't it take too long to remove body shell? Maybe it is better to attach the transponder to the wing? The cable could be strapped to the wing stay.

me and wally are going up on the sat and staying in a b&b i say we will be heading up around 1 on the sat and i have the transponder idea in the bag as will i show you on sunday if you are heading down
