For anyone interested see below: The Volvo Ocean Race will host a Volvo Open 70 Model Boat Circuit at the Race Village. The photo will feature Volvo Ocean Race sailors racing against each other in model Open 70’s. Galway Volvo Ocean Race, the biggest sporting event and festival in Ireland during 2009 will run from 23 May to 06 June and is supported by Failte Ireland. 200,000 people from Ireland and overseas will visit Galway during the event, generating an estimated €43m to the economy.
