Sunday 21st September saw the final day of six championship rounds in Galway held over six months, Pete Wells and Darren Hill were tied on points so it was all down to the final race. Darren started on pole with Pete 2nd and Nick Brooker 3rd on the grid, during the first lap Darren pulled away with a good lead after Pete made a mistake and had marshalling issues, a few laps later the same happened to Darren at the same place on the track and all was even. A tight race then ensued right up to the second pitstop when Darren made a mistake which would cost him half a lap, Pete pulled ahead slightly each lap for a while until another mistake allowed him to lap Darren and secure the win and the title, with Nick finishing 3rd. Well done to Pete and all that entered to make this a friendly and successful competition throughout the Summer.

The top three Junior members in the championship were 1st Josh Wells, 2nd Conor Hill, 3rd Liam Bedford, well done and a warm welcome to the club in your first year of racing. See gallery for more pics.
